Antonia Gillette
Bio
Antonia Luz Gillette (she/her) was born in Miami, Florida, where she attended New World School of the Arts. She has trained in a multitude of styles ranging from ballet to hip hop. In her Junior year of high school, she performed Ohad Naharin’s ‘Echad Mi Yodea’ and took Gaga classes from Bobbi Jene Smith, Ian Robinson, and Bret Easterling. She studies at The Juilliard School where she’s had the pleasure of performing works by world-renowned choreographers such as Rena Butler, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Jamar Roberts, Hofesh Shechter, and Ohad Naharin. In her 3rd year at Juilliard, she choreographed her first piece, ‘Los Versos Mas Tristes Del Mundo’, in hopes to pay homage to her ancestors and to connect to her Hispanic culture.
