Tyrone Reese

Tyrone Reese (he/him) is a native of Mobile, AL, primarily training at the Alabama School of Fine Arts under the direction of Wes Chapman and Mobile Ballet under the direction of Katia Garza. He won the 2020 Houston Youth America Grand Prix award and was a 2020 YoungArts Foundation award winner in ballet. While at The Juilliard School, Reese has performed works by Rena Butler, Justin Peck, Ohad Naharin, Aszure Barton, and Jamar Roberts, amongst others. He is also the recipient of Juilliard’s Greene Foundation scholarship. Currently cast in the Broadway musical Illinoise, Tyrone is grateful for the community of artists he has met and is eager to begin shaping the world through art.
